If you have oily/combination and acne prone skin, looking for a good sun cream can be a real challenge. At least from my experience, a lot of sun creams can cause acne troubles, or it creates an oily film on the skin and/or white reflects. Likely for us, cosmetic brands are finally coming out with sun creams that respect these specific requirements of oily acne prone skin. I have tried several sun creams that were intended to use for this skin and I have finally found my two favorites. If you have similar skin issue as I do, definitely check them out.
I am not the best example of the regular application of SPF but during summer time (or sunny days in general) I am trying to use every day. Especially since I have found that sun creams mentioned below work very good for me as a primer under the makeup.
My two faves are:
- Eucerin Sun Gel-Cream Oil Control SPF 50+
- La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50+ Anti-Shine
Both of them have pretty much the same properties. They keep my skin protected entire day, sink quickly into the skin and do not cause a white film on the skin. Both are mattifying and create a nice canvas for makeup that stays on very well during the day.
And what about you? Do you apply SPF every day? What are your sun cream faves? Let me know in comments below.
