Colourpop Eyeshadows – Swatches and Review

Colourpop is US makeup company which was founded in 2014 and since that it is famous all over the world. Its product collection is mainly focused on lips and eyes, all their product are well-known for great pigmentation and very affordable price range.

Since 2016, Colourpop is shipping worldwide and since Autumn 2016, it offers free international shipping for purchases over 50 USD. For my readers from the Czech republic, please keep in mind that for order from the USA you have to pay national custom fees so it becomes a bit more expensive.

In today’s post, I want to share my Colourpop eyeshadow collection with swatches and a small review. If you want to see also lip products’ related post, keep your eye on my blog, it is coming soon 🙂

Colourpop eyeshadows have very specific consistency, look like a powder and feel like a cream. I do recommend to apply them with fingers or with synthetic brushes. They go on very smoothly and wear nicely during the day. I have oilier eyelids so I have to use an eye primer with them. With a primer, eyeshadows wear throughout the entire day (12-14 hours). But even without it, they do wear nicely for at least 6-8 hours on me. So I do expect that for those of you who have not oily eyelids eyeshadows will work even without primer.

Eyeshadows come in several different finishes. In general, I think that metallic and pearlized finish is more vibrant and pigmented but also matte eyeshadows are very nice. So far I do not find any negatives on these eyeshadows.

Tip: Keep eyeshadows closed very well otherwise they will dry out.
