In today’s post, I want to share my thoughts about Maybelline Color Tattoos Creamy Mattes. “Creamy Mattes” is a new finish in Maybelline Color Tattoo family. Maybelline Color Tattoos are my favourite cream eyeshadows. I have several shimmery shades of them and shade On and On Bronze is my “must have” for summer makeup look. When I have found out that they are also available in the matte form, I had to try them immediately!
I bought mine in London where they are available in a drugstore (e.g. Boots or Superdrug). In the Czech Republic, they are not available in a drugstore (at least not yet), but you can purchase them online e.g. at www.notino.cz.
I have bought them in three neutral shades, however, I am pretty sure that there are more shades in this range.
- 91 Créme De Rose – is light dusty rose pink – very good dupe to MAC Paint pot in Painterly
- 93 Créme De Nude – is light yellow toned skin colour – very similar to MAC Paint pot in Soft Ochre
- 96 Creamy Beige – is light brown colour with cool undertone (although name suggests it is a beige colour) – similar to MAC Paint pot in Groundwork
All of them are creamy, very pigmented and have very good staying power. You can wear them alone or as a base under the powder eyeshadows. My faves are shades Créme De Rose, mainly as a base colour, and Creamy Beige which I often wear alone. Créme De Nude goes on a bit patchy in my opinion but as a base, it is good as well.
After testing them for two months, I can confirm that also these Color Tattoos Creamy Mattes are fulfilling the high standard of creamy eyeshadows which was set by Maybelline Color Tattoo range. If you like cream eyeshadows and you are thinking about buying these, I do recommend them.
Do you like Maybelline Color Tattoos? Let me know in comments below which is your favourite shade. I hope you like this post.
