In today’s post, I want to share my thoughts on Zoeva Nude Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette. I have bought it at the end of the last year and I already featured it in my beauty favourites from 2016 (Best Beauty Products of 2016). The palette retails for 36 EUR from ZoevaCosmetics.com (international website), or for 973 CZK from MakeupAndMore.cz if you are from the Czech or the Slovak Republic. It is definitely not the cheapest palette out there, but also not the most expensive one. So let’s get started and find out whether it is worth of splurging!
First things first, let’s start with the packaging. It comes packed in the black box with rose-gold labelling and inside you find the actual palette. The palette is in cardboard packaging, all black and with a nice velvet feel on its surface. All labels are written in rose-gold colour. Overall packing is very sleek and slim, simple but classy. I really like it. Although it is cardboard, it does not look cheap at all. The only thing I am missing is a mirror inside the palette. It would make it even more handy.
Inside of the Zoeva Nude Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette, you find 15 neutral eyeshadow shades. The palette contains a mix of matte and shimmer finishes and colours in both cool and warm undertones. If you are the neutral colours lover, like I am, you will like this palette a lot. In my opinion, it contains all shades that you need for an everyday neutral look from the matte skin tone shade through a several shimmery lid shades and matte crease colours up to rich chocolate colour and classic matte black. And even if you like more colourful looks, this can be an amazing base of your eyeshadow collection as you can easily pair it with any coloured eyeshadows.
All shades inside Zoeva Nude Spectrum Palette are nicely pigmented and blend very easily. Besides really neutral shades, it contains two very slight pop of colours in golden and reddish tone. Eyeshadows are pretty creamy and not too powdery. I find them comparable to high-end brands like Urban Decay or Too Faced. For me, it is the perfect colour selection that covers all my needs and basic looks.
YES, it is approved by me 🙂 If you are thinking about purchasing one of the Zoeva palettes, I can definitely recommend this one if you like neutral colours. If you like brighter colours, definitely check out their other palettes (e.g. Caramel Melange one, my review HERE), I find them very good.
I hope you like this post. Have you tried Zoeva Nude Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette? Do you also have any palette which covers all your needs? Let me know in comments below.
