Makeup Revolution Fortune Favours The Brave Palette Re-review

Hi guys,

today I have another re-review of the makeup product that I reviewed a few months ago. Particularly, today we will talk about Fortune Favour The Brave Eyeshadow Palette by Makeup Revolution London.

If you are not familiar with the concept of “Re-reviews”, basically I am taking products which I have reviewed a time ago (a least few months) and I am checking whether I still think that my review is correct or not. I already did this for Colourpop Eyeshadows and if you want to see the full explanation of the concept and also results of Colourpop re-review, please check it HERE.

Two months ago, I have posted the review of the Fortune Favour The Brave Eyeshadow Palette by Makeup Revolution London (see HERE). So let’s check what I do think about this palette today and whether I would recommend it for purchasing.

Already in my original review, I have said that there are many shades which look the same when applied on the lids. After few month of using this palette, I have to say that it is true and moreover, after few hours eyeshadows blend together on the lid and creates one undefined colour. At the end of the day, all looks (colour combinations) look pretty much the same. Moreover, dark shades with sparkles do not perform very well and with a brush, you basically cannot transfer sparkles on the lids and you end up with another dark shade only.

Overall, after using this palette for a while, I am pretty disappointed. Although it offers 30 different eyeshadows, at the end you can come up with only about 4-5 look which may look a bit different from each other. The performance of the eyeshadows during the day is not that good even with the primer and at the end of the day, you have one weird colour on your eyes instead of nice smokey look or other looks which you created in the morning.

Already in my original review, I have said that I do not see this palette as a “must have” one and after more experiences with it, I cannot recommend it anymore. I think that there are more palettes in the same price point out there which you can try and get better results. If you are not makeup collectors or huge fans of Makeup Revolution brand, I would say stay clear from this palette.

And that’s it for today. Let me know your experience with this palette if you have it. I hope you like this concept of re-reviews because I am planning several of them for future. Definitely, let me know in comments below.

Thank you for coming today!

Have an amazing day and be inspired!
